Therapy Services

Life can sometimes become overwhelming without us noticing. You may be feeling anxious, stuck, grieving, questioning who you are, or simply exhausted from coping. Whatever has brought you here, you don't have to work it out alone.  We can begin to make sense of what’s happening and move towards your own path of healing, but together.

Clinical Hypnotherapy

Clinical hypnotherapy is an approach helping individuals with anxiety, stress habits and phobias. You are guided into a deeply relaxed state, accessing the subconscious mind to focus on positive change. It is a valuable investment in your mental well-being and personal growth. Experience the transformative power of hypnotherapy and take the first step toward a healthier mindset.

Workshops

My workshops are designed to offer support and healing in times of loss. They provide a safe space for expression and understanding as you navigate the journey of grief.  They are available for the individual or for organisations enabling a deeper understanding of their employee's journey providing guidance for policies and interaction.

My Approach

How I Work

You may be here because you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck and anxious, carrying burdens that feel heavier than expected.  Sometimes people arrive in therapy because something has changed; other times because they’ve been coping for too long and simply can't carry the burden alone anymore.

Are you finding that anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional exhaustion have become harder to shift, even when you understand things logically? Some people come to therapy feeling as though they are coping, but no longer feeling like themselves, or noticing patterns that repeat without clear explanation.

I offer a warm, welcoming, and non-judgemental space where you can feel safe to talk openly. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work, and we will work collaboratively at a pace that feels right for you, focusing on what matters most to you.

My approach is grounded in empathy, compassion, respect, and inclusivity. Everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and accepted, and I aim to create an environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings with confidence, supporting both healing and personal growth.

As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, tailoring each session to your individual needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. Alongside psychotherapy, I incorporate psychoeducation where appropriate, helping you make sense of how you are feeling and empowering you with greater self-awareness as meaningful change begins to take place.

I have experience supporting people through a wide range of life’s challenges, with a particular focus on prolonged grief and the many ways grief can affect life and identity.  Whatever your experience, it deserves to be acknowledged with care and compassion.

Above all, our work together is shaped around you. Every person is unique, and therapy should reflect that. Together, we will find an approach that best supports your individual needs, goals, and hopes for the future.

You can also explore my blog, where I write about grief, neurodivergence, and the differences between shame and guilt, to help people make sense of their emotional experiences in more depth.

About Me

I am a qualified Psychotherapist, who has further trained to become a Hypnotherapist to provide extra support to clients.

Yorkshire born and raised, I moved to Wales to complete a Master’s degree in Humanistic Psychotherapy. During my training, I studied a range of approaches including Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, and Existential Psychotherapy. This foundation informs my current practice as an integrative therapist, where I draw flexibly from different approaches to support each person’s individual needs.

I didn’t come to psychotherapy by accident. It was a long-standing interest that developed into a professional commitment to supporting people in a thoughtful, respectful, and meaningful way.

In my clinical work, clients often describe feeling understood, at ease, and able to speak more freely than they expected. Many say things like “you make things clear” or “I feel heard,” and describe a sense of relief as they begin to talk.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that therapy should be grounded in respect, authenticity, and empathy. I aim to offer a steady, collaborative space where we can explore what’s happening for you at a pace that feels manageable.

I recognise that life can be complex and at times overwhelming, and my role is to work alongside you with curiosity and care, helping you make sense of your experiences and find ways forward that feel right for you.

Seeking Support

If you are seeking support for mental health concerns via either psychotherapy or hypnotherapy, I am here to provide an individually designed service. We will work together, building a mental health toolbox to aid your wellbeing, creating a brighter future, together.

If you're unsure whether therapy is right for you, that's completely understandable.  We can start with a relaxed conversation to see whether working together feels like the right fit.
